DRAM QRA Test Engineer
About the Job
As a QRA DRAM Test Engineer, at Micron, you will help develop test programs to assess the quality and reliability of Micron’s industry-leading DRAM components. You will work with state-of-the-art automated test equipment using proprietary tester languages as well as C/C++ and UNIX to create device-level tests. This role is critical for the qualification of new products prior to shipment of those parts to Micron’s customers. You may also participate in analysis of customer returns. In addition, you will analyze failures generated by the test programs and interface with Product, Test and Assembly Engineers to provide corrective action for issues that are found during testing.
Successful candidates for this position will have:
Education:
BS Electrical Engineering (with a software emphasis or experience), BS Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
Successful candidates for this position will have:
- Solid programming skills.
- A familiarity with the UNIX operating system.
- Experience with ADVANTEST programming (a plus).
- An understanding of semiconductor memory functionality is beneficial.
- A strong work ethic.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Education:
BS Electrical Engineering (with a software emphasis or experience), BS Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
