

This position supports the specialized file transaction functions within the Government Operations team by acting as a liaison between Operations, Information Technology, and external clients. Please apply online at www.shps.com/careers
This position requires an individual who has proven knowledge of file specifications, data transmissions, and client specific plans and products. This individual is expected to present a professional appearance and demeanor, as some external client contact is required.
- Implementation of data specifications, transmission setup, and ongoing maintenance.
Provide technical guidance and data solutions to internal and external partners.
- Manage the implementation, testing and overall quality of data feeds and specifications prior to moving to production.
- Work with partners and production services to ensure data security and transmission methodologies are established for feed automation.
- Manage, track, report, and communicate statistical and data integrity issues.
- Research, analyze, and trend data information for quality in order to proactively identify data issues, process gaps, and data flow improvements.
- Evaluate, interpret and analyze data and business processes.
- Develop business requirements
- Document workflows
- Communicate business directives, goals and needs to the IT team and serve as interface between Operations and IT group.
- Develop recommendations and alternatives for management review and presentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve development and functional issues.
- Participate in client conference calls and meetings (internal and external).
- Assist with special tasks/projects as needed and/or assigned by the Director.
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years experience with payroll feeds and file transmissions
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent PC skills
- Strong client facing interpersonal relationship skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access
- Previous experience with SQL required
- Self motivated
- Able to prioritize workload to perform multiple tasks while meeting firm deadlines
- Analyze and draw appropriate conclusions based on knowledge and data available
- Flexible as overtime is required at times
- Must be able to deal with confidential/sensitive topics appropriately and ensure the organization complies with HIPAA where applicable
- Industry experience within healthcare services (i.e. FSA, Cobra, HR products) preferred
Education Requirements
– High School Diploma GED
