Data Center Maintenance Engineer

The following are pre-requisites for this position:

·         Demonstrate ability to lift 75 pounds of weight.

·         Demonstrate ability to climb ladders.

·         Demonstrate ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

·         Demonstrate ability to operate computers and utilize e-mail.

·         Demonstrate ability to read and understand Single Line Drawings.

·         Demonstrate ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all plumbing, mechanical and electrical equipment in the facility.

·         Demonstrate ability to keep organized documentation of logs, work orders and preventative maintenance.

·         Demonstrate ability to prove working knowledge and troubleshooting techniques on various HVAC and electrical equipment.

·         Demonstrate ability to understand and troubleshoot Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.

·         Demonstrate understanding of both rotary and static Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS).

·         Demonstrate experience on fire life safety systems.

·         Demonstrate ability to communicate both written and orally with corporate executives during crisis situations.

·         Must be able to work any shift for 8 hours, 5 days a week.

·         Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.

·         Must be willing to perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer or Management.
