Warnaco Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a talented Data Center Manager to join our team. Warnaco's history dates back to 1874. The original company designed, manufactured and sold Warner's corsets to retailers. Since then, Warnaco has evolved into a global apparel leader which designs, sources, markets, licenses and distributes a broad line of intimate apparel, sportswear and swimwear worldwide. The successful candidate for this position will effectively manage Warnaco's computer operations data center. Manage a combination of duties mainly related to but not limited to the maintenance of the AS/400, Intel platform and the telecommunications infrastructure. Supervise a team of operators and contribute directly to support a variety of systems and applications.

As Data Center Manager your primary responsibilities will include:

• Advise, train and promote training to other team members and operators on any of the technologies available in the data center
• Ensure that the Service Level Agreements (SLA)s and up time metrics are accomplished and well documented
• Analyze computer problems and design solutions
• Maintain and improve the computer operations procedural documentation
• Review daily computer Operator turnover logs and daily shift reports
• Provide and support the documentation required by the auditors
• Provide training on current and new procedures to computer operators
• Evaluate computer operator performances
• Maintain computer operator vacation and on duty rotation calendar
• Participate in weekly Change Control meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Support senior system administrator when needed and be active member of the operation team 
  
  
• Responsible for managing 24 x 7 computer room operations.
  
  
• Support to the global operation
• First line of support in case of operational issues

In addition, the ideal candidate will have:

• B.S. in Computer Science is preferred or equivalent work experience
  
  
• 5 years AS400 experience minimum
  
  
• 2 years supervisory experience minimum
  
  
• 1 year Intel systems experience
  
  
• 1 year experience with Networking
  
  
• Strong background in implementation of process and understanding of flows
  
  
• Experience with SAP operations
  
  
• Excellent communications skills - written and verbal
  
  
• Strong analytical skills
  
  
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
