Data Center Software Design Engineer, C#, Algorithms

Job Description:
Our client is a world-renowned software leader spearheading solutions in a number of areas, including cutting-edge service manageability infrastructures, scalability solutions, monitoring and Software Development Frameworks. This is a contract opportunity for a seasoned Developer inside the team that is working on manageability platform for the corporate data centers.

The position requires strong algorithmic skills, native fluency in C#, and a lot of passion - proven by shipping real software! As a SDE on this team, you will work on parts of the authorization mechanism that tracks people, roles, and capabilities in very large-scale data centers and product groups that release software to these data centers. Much of the spec work has already been done and this role will mostly help with the implementation

Day-to-day:

• Help implement highly scalable, geo-distributed ticketing solution for data centers
  
• Work on different projects within the application in an Agile Environment
  
• Different tasks working on the OS for the datacenter
  
• Maintenance and upkeep of existing code in C#

• 4+ years hands-on software development experience
  
• Strong, practical knowledge of C#
  
• Proficiency in C# Algorithms
  
• Knowledge of XML, SQL and/or Web Services a plus
  
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related area preferred
  
• Large-scale software industry experience preferred
