We are looking for a DataCenter Specialist in Miami, Florida.
Please note: Candidates that do not have a Secret clearance or above will not be considered for this position. Security Clearance is a requirement.
The DataCenter Specialist will partner with the Sr. Project Manager and the Solutions Architect in the establishment, execution, and evaluation of the SOUTHCOM Data Center Infrastructure and Relocation program. Specifically the incumbent will be responsible for carrying out the solutions to implement, transform and optimize a data center capability. The program scope will include installing, operating, maintaining, and protecting data center servers and subsystems to enable the USSOUTHCOM to successfully perform their mission. The incumbent shall integrate technology changes and upgrades as approved by USSOUTHCOM and directed by the Sr. Project Manager to meet user requirements and to maintain operational currency of the IT systems and networks.
Mandatory Requirements:
· Experience with VMWare, SANS and Servers
· 5 years related functional and or technical experience in support of IT infrastructure
· A+, MCP or MCSE Certification
· Secret Government Clearance or ability to be cleared
