Micro Systems Engineering, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of BIOTRONIK SE Co., now has an exciting opportunity available for a Data Management Specialist in beautiful Portland, Oregon.

The Data Management Specialist is responsible for configuration and management of the enterprise-wide ERP, MES, and DMS. Position is also responsible for coordinating with engineering, manufacturing and quality to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards for medical devices.

The Data Management Specialist’s responsibilities include the following:

• Administer and manage the enterprise-wide ERP, MES and DMS
• Develop, implement and manage product configuration solutions, working closely with interdisciplinary teams throughout the organization
• Contribute to detailed analysis and documentation of production processes with emphasis on material and information flow
• Maintain rigorous change control management and work closely with all sites and global resources to define and execute requested changes to existing configurations
• Demonstrate best practices for global data integration and documentation approaches to meet the quality and regulatory standards for manufacture of medical devices

Qualifications for the position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, with project management experience
• 3 or more years of experience in manufacturing environment, preferably medical devices
• Solid understanding of integrated enterprise-wide systems for ERP, document management and Manufacturing Execution Systems is required.
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Background in Quality Engineering and Computer Science in manufacturing, with knowledge of database structures a plus
• Self starter with strong, proactive work ethic
