Position Summary

• Create and maintain documentation supporting data-processing requirements and procedures including data merges, data manipulation, and processing rules.
  
• Design and develop specifications for data submission from various clients; accounting for variations in data sources and formats.
  
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the data-processing requirements.
  
• Design, develop, and populate SQL database of student-level information.
  
• Design, program, document, and maintain SQL procedures/queries necessary to prepare data based on complex project requirements and variations in data sources/formatting.
  
• Using SQL, create and conduct quality-control checks on data from initial delivery to final merged data by applying problem-solving and analytical skills in resolving data discrepancies in order to ensure data accuracy.
  
• Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
• Manage job duties to meet short timelines and changing project requirements.
  
• Actively participate in developing standards and procedures for managing large-scale databases.
  
• Work independently and as a member of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of three years of experience, or associate’s degree and five years of experience, or education and experience equal to seven years.
  
• Data processing experience that includes working in a Relational Database Management System, with a focus on data management in an SQL Server environment using T-SQL and other Microsoft tools.
