Data Quality Specialist - Medical Coder



Greater Baltimore Medical Center is currently seeking a Data Quality Specialist - Medical Coder to collect data by abstracting, assessing and analyzing demographic and clinical information to assist in decision support in all areas of patient care.


Candidate must have completion of an Accredited Record Technician Program or 3 years experience in lieu of program completion


Specialized training in coding/abstracting procedures, anatomy and physiology and medical terminology obtained through seminars and college courses.


1 year of CPT and ICD9 coding experience with accreditation.


Accreditation or eligible for ART, RRA, or CCS.
