We are currently looking for a Data Warehouse Analyst (Architect) - #12739 in Chicago, IL.

Position Summary: 

 We are looking for a technical, results-oriented, and quality-focused individual with strong data warehouse and business intelligence architecture skills. This individual will ensure the long term reliability, scalability and maintainability for a large scale, multi-application enterprise data warehouse. They will play an active role in data architecture, tools, processes, project assessment and development process design.

Responsibilities:

 - Collaborate with application developers, business analysts,  business owners, and DBA’s  to ensure the creation of production-quality designs and implementations

- Guide the full lifecycle of DW project efforts

- Diagnose and resolve application bottlenecks and performance issues

- Manage multiple tasks and changing business requirements

- Define and enforce standards, design styles and best practices

- Own DW schema design and ensure optimum database performance

- Identify and streamline routine processes in a fast-paced environment

- Develop and document a technology roadmap through collaboration with the business teams.

Requirements:

 - Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with multiple ongoing projects concurrently.

- Proven success as a BI architect (5+ years) at a multi-terabyte DW environment

- Experience (5+ years) with commercial data integration and BI/reporting tools

- Strong database modeling ability with emphasis on building star schemas.

- Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition

- Proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver

- Ability to deal with long term goals along with immediate performance concerns

- Strong communication skills and ability to translate highly complex technical issues to non-technical audience

- Excellent communication, mentoring and problem solving skills

- BS in Computer Science or a similar degree.

- Oracle OBIEE/Siebel Analytics and Oracle Data Integration experience a plus
