As the Data Warehouse Developer, you will assist in design, develop, test, install and maintenance of application systems, programs, functions, services and other related software components in response to the enterprise needs of high complexity. You will have responsibilities for production support and maintenance of existing database solutions. The environment includes a mature Oracle warehouse with Cognos cube BI solution for various back-end source systems. The new strategic direction will require knowledge in programming for the Microsoft BI stack and SSIS integration tier. This is a contract only position. Required Experience- 3+ years Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse experience
- 5+ years development experience with MS SSAS
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008
- Knowledge of procedural Data Manipulation languages such as PL/SQL, Proc-SQL, T-SQL or DTS
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools such as DTS, BI Development Studio, Team Foundation, Microsoft Analysis Services or Microsoft Report Services
- Knowledge of fundamental concepts and practices of Business Intelligence, OLAP, and multidimensional reporting and analysis
- Estimation skills for cost, effort and duration of product deliverables of moderate to high complexity
- Prefer SSIS or any comparable ETL tool
