An intermediate level Datacom DBA position involving management of Enterprise databases in a highly dynamic environment. Provide technical expertise to a team in support of operational and project activities related to our business systems. Provide technical and operational support to other departments and teams in support of their business objectives.
Qualified candidates must have:
• BS Degree, computer science or similar technical discipline, (experience can be substituted for degree).
• 1 - 3 years as a (large systems) database administrator.
• Experience in a large, 24x7 environment.
• Experience with large scale, multi-application databases.
• Previous experience in a Datacom environment.
• Experience with Online and Batch Data Dictionary.
• Experience with Online and Batch URT.
• Experience with Datacom/DB Utilities.
• Ability to write, debug and tune SQL.
• Proficient with mainframe MVS/JCL and Utilities.
• Experience with database monitoring and tuning tools.
