Configuration Management Specialist
Security Clearance Eligibility: Must be a US Citizen, able to pass a Federal Government background investigation and obtain a badge
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop Guidelines for Maintaining Configuration Items [CI]
- Review control and status accounting Process
- Assist in Configuration Management Control Board Activities
- Review/Evaluate configuration management system
- Assist in Developing Configuration Items control policies
- Review Configuration Management process and recommend process improvements
- Develop, Update and Review Request for Change (RFC) processing Procedures
- Assist in Impact assessment of Proposed Modifications
- Review Change/Migration approval process and recommend improvements
- Assist in evaluating recovery from change failures
- Develop, Update and Review RFC submittal process
- Develop, Update and Review change category and priority schemes
- Develop, Update and Review change "project" management process
- Provide Review and Recommendations to change advisory board on Technical Review Requests
- Develop, Update, Review RFC Approval Guidelines
- Review post-change service delivery and Recommend improvements to Change Management Strategy/Process
Qualifications:
- 7 years experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology discipline
- US Citizen
- ITIL v3 Certification
Desired:
- Master’s degree in an Information Technology discipline
