Database Administrator
The candidate will be responsible for Oracle database administration, database backups, data purging/cleaning, script development and some simple procedure development.
BS or equivalent degree, preferably in computer related field
- At least five years of DBA experience
- At least two years of MS SQL Server 2000/2005 experience
- At least five years of Oracle database 10g experience
- Excellent knowledge of database performance tuning
- Proficient with database maintenance
- Proficient with database backups
- Proficient with database recovery
- Proficient with database clustering
- Proficient with Data Transformation Services
- Willing to work after hours during emergency call-in
- Must be able to work as part of a team
Assets:
- General system administrator skills a plus.
