People within Application Outsourcing are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  As part of our Application Outsourcing team, you could be helping to provide the programming, management and maintenance services needed to implement and support installations of both custom and packaged application software

  • Incorporate skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients.

The DBA is a member of the Technical Team and, as such, will be expected to support members of the development and test team in resolving any issues they encounter within the technical environments or using the database.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Environment Installations, Configurations, and Upgrades
  • Environment Monitoring
  • Application Code Builds
  • Operational Documentation
  • Data Center Coordination
  • Support of Maintenance and Enhancement Implementations/Migrations
  • Environment Refresh and Database Cloning

 

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • 2 years Oracle Database Administration (DBA) skills and experience
  • 1 year UNIX skills and experience
  • BS degree in Information Systems/Computer Science/Engineering or 2 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Oracle 10g RAC experience (database, application server, forms, workflow, reports)
  • 2 years of development lifecycle experience
