The Judge Group is a national recruiting and IT staffing company.  Our Chicagoland office is seeking a Technical Analyst with experience managing a Database behind a corporate website/e-commerce portal and a financial services background for a contract to hire opening with our client located in a northern suburb of Chicago. 

Description:

This key position is responsible for the operational and technical support of our client's online websites. In this position you will handle the day-to-day maintenance to insure 100% website availability for all of its user community.

 Specific responsibilities include the following:

• Perform day-to-day management of InfoNet website including loading content management updates and other routine maintenance.

• Manage and maintain InfoNet community functionality and resolve user issues through regular communication with community leaders and InfoNet users.

• Use ATG software to manage the website content and maintain “aging” logs to flag stale content.

• Identify website defects, file trouble reports and assist the software developers with diagnosis, User Acceptance Testing on software fixes and communication of resolution to the users of InfoNet and GlobalNet.

• Proactively identify website enhancements or new designs and collaborate with Business Technology or other areas to develop project plans to support implementation of recommended enhancements. This would also entail the adaptation of the website functionality to the new client business model.

• Implement creative data management solutions to minimize report maintenance needs and ensure high quality reporting accuracy. Develop and maintain reports in Excel or Access to support leadership information needs prior to migration and deployment to the website.

• Perform maintenance on website data tables in response to franchise requests. Maintain audit trail log documenting data table changes and inform franchise users when maintenance cycle is complete. This will entail validating the purpose of data table changes, reopening historical reporting periods, reviewing franchise changes for integrity, relocking tables and re-consolidating the system.

• Provide customer service support to website users by fielding customer inquiries, evaluating inquiry to determine process for resolution and working with appropriate internal resources to resolve the issue in a timely fashion.

• Manage the portal New User approval and entitlement process with franchises and business application owners. Prepare and distribute management MIS supporting entitlement process. Also maintain and update the country matrix log of franchise database settings and user entitlements.

• When necessary, provide back-up to Reporting manager.

Skills required

·         Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Information systems

·         8+ years of experience managing financial reporting systems and business-to-business websites.

·         Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written and experience working at all level across the organization.

·         Strong IT Project Management/organizational skills including a process and/or systems management background.

·         Strong problem solving and Analytical skills.

·         Excellent knowledge of database principles as well as experience with application and database support.

·         Expert command of the MS Office suite to include Excel and Access.
