POSITION DESCRIPTION – Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Include: The Senior Oracle Applications is responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing the Oracle e-Business Suite Applications for Financials, Projects, HRMS, & Supply Chain modules.
The Lead Oracle Applications Need a strong candidate in Workflow Builder, Oracle Forms & Reports, XML Publisher, Discoverer, EDI, interfaces and conversions. Should be able to work on enhancement projects and should be able to support and troubleshoot production support issues. Participate in all activities in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and prepare technical documentation based on the AIM methodology. S/he uses existing and emerging technology platforms to support and document technically detailed distributed applications. S/he writes new complex systems (a grouping of programs involving multiple levels of table dimension and internal sorts that accomplishes a particular new function), designs and codes programs and creates test transactions. S/he also analyzes organizational needs and goals to develop and implement distributed application systems and understand the impact of planned changes. S/he must also have extensive experience supporting distributed applications. S/he must be experienced at resolving hardware, software, and communications malfunctions and understand the business impact of resolving complications
Duties and qualifications, identifying both essential and marginal duties: · Experience in several lifecycle implementations of Oracle Applications and upgrades. · Experience in the following technical areas: o Oracle Workflow o Oracle Forms & Reports o Oracle Discoverer Development and Administration o Oracle XML Development and Administration o Oracle EDI and XML Gateway o Oracle Applications Development Framework, JDeveloper & Personalization o Oracle SQL Tuning and Optimization o Oracle PL/SQL and TOAD o Shell scripting (not required but preferred) o Oracle Packages, procedures, functions, Materialized views & backend development o Business Intelligence o Familiar with Linux/UNIX Commands o Interfaces and Conversions o Familiar with Oracle Applications Development Coding Standards · Experience with AIM Methodology, Business Process Engineering and Project Management tools and/or similar ERP implementation methodologies required. · Experience in process analysis; process design, mapping, and re-engineering and process/software gap analysis required. · Experience with Computer Systems Validation, SOX and other IT Best Practices. · Experience with converting data from legacy systems is a plus. · Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving abilities. · Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. | ||

Education, Skill, and Experience Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Business/Computer discipline or equivalent Technical experience required. · Minimum of 10 years experience in information technology solution development projects, with 5 years of recent experience as an Oracle Applications Developer.
IA Certification Requirement:
Security Clearance Requirement: Candidate must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance at the TS/SCI level. |
