Description:


Volt is seeking a Database Analyst for a contract opportunity.


The Database Analyst duties include:


Leads the design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's physical, relational, and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments.

Develops data architectures and database management policies and standards.

Provides senior-level consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues.

Serve as a high-level resource on database management issues, and participate in the planning, design, and usage of data resources.


Requirements:
7-10 years of Oracle and/or SQL Server DBMS experience.

In depth knowledge of database systems in a Data Warehousing environment.

Strong communication skills written and verbal, with multitasking capabilities, and a good sense of urgency and prioritization.

Strong SQL Server 2005/2008 DBA experience and moderate Oracle 10g experience.

Experience managing large databases including partitioning strategies.

Familiar with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS Advanced SQL skills.

Understanding of reporting solutions.

4 year degree required.
