Founded in 1994, KJ International Resources is a Minneapolis based foreign language translation and localization service provider.  KJI is a recognized global leader in providing translation and localization services to within regulated industries such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, information technology, heavy industry, finance, and many other industries.

KJI's services include translation, localization, desktop publishing, software and website localization, regulatory language consultation, content management integration, and other specialized language related services.

Position Description:

KJI is seeking an aggressive, motivated, professional IT/Software Development person to support and improve our existing database and technology.  KJI's current database uses a .NET framework and is continually evolving and becoming an integral part of our business.  Our ideal candidate must possess proven track record in web application and database development and demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

.       Support current application and facilitate the development, future

design and productivity of future releases.

.       Work with KJI's internal development team to determine application

requirements perform and maintain routine database maintenance and upgrade releases.

.       System testing, documentation, application support and issue

resolution

.       Demonstrated quality approach to the software development process

.       Collaboration and creativity in understanding requirements and

problem solving

.       Design, develop and maintain an ASP.NET C# applications

.       Define, implement and adhere to organizational data and life cycle

development standards

.       Provide architectural planning, create data flow and process flow

diagrams, and respond to ad-hoc requests for data extraction and reporting

.       Implement automated data batch import and export processes

.       Assist in the improvement of web based user interfaces to

operational data stores

.       Support the integration of operational data stores with existing and

new reporting tools

.       Design and implement on-going enhancements and provide excellent

operational support

Minimum Requirements:

.       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer & Information

Science, Management Information Systems, or related field required

.       3+ yrs SQL Server 2005 experience

.       3+ yrs SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) experience

.       3+ yrs ASP.NET C# development experience

.       3+VB Script

Additional Requirements:

.       Minimum 3 years experience in a software production environment

        Minimum 3 years experience in computer networking and system integration

.       Knowledge of ColdFusion, Flash/Flex, VB.NET or C#, HTML, XML,

       JavaScript, SQL design and T-SQL technologies

.       Ability to work in a demanding and challenging environment

.       Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities

.       Display strong abilities to learn new technologies and acquire new

        skills through independent study, professional training and senior team members

.       Highly motivated, proactive personality
