About the Position:


Smartware Group (makers of Bigfoot CMMS), a respected and established provider of CMMS solutions (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) is looking for a self-motivated and talented Database/IT Support Specialist. 


 


This is a work-from-home-position.  You will meet in person monthly with co-workers from Southern Maine and Southern New Hampshire.   You must possess the traits of a person who can effectively work in a remote office:  self-driven, disciplined work ethic, effective communicator, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work “self directed”.


 


Position Skill-set:


• 3+ years experience with SQL Server – administration, setup, permissions and script creation


• 3+ years with MS Access, Excel


• 1+ years with Visual Basic (beneficial)


• IT/Server infrastructure – IIS, Windows Server 2003, Windows, related (beneficial)


• HTML, ASPx (beneficial)





Position Duties:


• Interact with customers and staff on a daily basis for data migration projects, imports, and other database and IT system tasks.


• Level 2 helpdesk support on our client/server product line.


• General product management (design, testing, etc.) on our product line(s).
