Dealer Relationship Manager - Melville Regional Buying Center

Job Description:
Work with 110 dealerships, build the relationship with them, support the outside sales manager, and be the first line of contact for Capital One Auto Finance (COAF) for issues in underwriting and funding. Makes outbound phone calls to the dealers to build relationships and capture the business for COAF as well as takes inbound calls from the dealers, analyzing the territory potential and coming up with the game plan to achieve the target goal, making adjustments to the game plan as the month progresses to achieve the desired goal.

Responsibilities:

Relationship building with dealerships
Creating deals with dealership over the phone
Work the structure in underwriting
Manage the deals in house for funding
Schedule and service four preapproval events per month (COAF direct product)
Territory/production analysis

Job Experience:
Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
2 years experience in customer relations
1 year experience in sales or credit buying in the Auto Finance industry


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business
5 years experience in Auto Finance
5 years experience in customer relations
1 year of process or project management experience
1 year of underwriting experience
