General Duties:


Comply with procedures to initiate contact with withdrawn students regarding their Federal Student Loan status, including but not limited to:



  • Acts as the default expert at the campus.
  • Works with the Campus Support Center Financial Aid department to accomplish CCi default goals.
  • Review the basic borrower rights and responsibilities under the Federal Loan Program, including the six month grace period.
  • Identify and present options including repayment plans, deferments and forbearances as it relates to individual circumstances.
  • Acts as liaison between borrowers and third-parties such as loan servicers and the Department of Education to facilitate timely resolutions for at-risk borrowers:further, to facilitate resolutions for delinquent borrowers in danger of defaulting.
  • Work collaboratively across departments on campus to present borrowers with a clear picture of their options regarding reenrollment.
  • Responsible for implementing and/or coordinating and communicating financial literacy programs on campus.
  • Responsible for implementing and/or coordinating and communicating Entrance and Exit Loan Counseling processes on campus.
  • Conduct in person group sessions for students.
  • Provide feedback to Campus Support Center Financial Aid department on effectiveness of materials.

  • Public speaking skills a must Ability to work independently, highly motivated with excellent organizational skills.
