Delivery Driver

Brown Distributing Company, Inc., a proud distributor of Anheuser-Busch as well as Monster Energy Drinks, and a variety of other beverage products throughout Central Virginia, is currently seeking Delivery Driver(s).

Delivery Driver 

Essential Functions

DELIVERY

·         Ensure all products are delivered as ordered by the salesmen.

·         Follow structured delivery frequency and time stops on assigned accounts.

·         Stock, merchandise where required.

·         Maintain back room stock (space, appearance, rotation, etc.).

·         Communicate key competitive activity to Pre-Salesman (price changes, resets, displays, etc.).

·         Communicate critical account changes to Delivery Supervisor (owner/manager, promotional participation, etc.)

·         Process all CPR and out-of-code beer as requested by the Pre-Salesman.

·         Adhere to applicable laws and regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of products.

·      Maintain customer satisfaction at all times and ensure professional service is given to all customers.

ROTATION

• Rotate all products on a “first in – first out” system paying close attention to the “born on date” system designed by Anheuser-Busch.
  
• Check for “dead spots” in all coolers.

·         Report any CPR or Out of Code beer found in an account to Delivery Supervisor by completing a CPR / OOC sheet.

·         Ensure all CPR / OOC beer returned to the warehouse is properly tagged.

ADMINISTRATIVE

·         Complete pre-trip vehicle inspection and driver report on a daily basis.

·         Properly use and be accountable for all assigned equipment (MC-70, printers, cell phones, pallet jacks, scan sheets, hand trucks, etc.).

·         Accurately account for all inventory and money at the end of every day and follow all settlement procedures

·         Ensure that all invoices are signed by both the driver and the account representative.

·         Properly sort and process all paperwork at the end of the day.

Requirements

·         Valid VA Class A Commercial driver’s license is required

·         Ability to lift 25 lbs or more repetitively

·         Must be able to communicate comfortably with all customers
