Dental Assistant Program Director


Fortis College -Norfolk is looking for a an experienced Director of our Dental Assistant Program to develop, implement, integrate, and evaluate the curriculum of the Dental Assistant program in accordance with the School’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values and in compliance with ACICS accreditation standards.


 



  • Applicants must hold current licensure as a Certified Dental Assistant or Dentist.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a health related field.

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in clinical practice and two (3) years experience as an instructor. 

  • Proficiency in curriculum design, externship development,  program administration, evaluation, instruction and  student advising.

  • Knowledge of current accreditation procedures preferred.
