Unit Summary:  This position is located at Commerce Bank Park in Harrisburg, PA, home of the AA minor league Harrisburg Senators.  Delaware North Companies Sportservice has recently been awarded the contract to be the premiere food & beverage provider for this 6,000 seat facility with expected revenues of $3 million.  We are seeking candidates for the following opportunity with an anticipated start date of January 2010.

Your Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of concessions, overseeing premium services, catering operations, including the Club Lounge, 21 suites, and directing hosted events at the facility. Specific duties include: Coordinate and supervise activities of employees, supervisors and volunteer group members in the concessions department.  Train associates in company policies and procedures and ensuring quality employee performance and guest service.  Creates and develops menus, beverage lists and prices, and responsible for the selection of product, linens, uniforms, and décor used within the property’s facility.  Work with General Manager to purchase products to fill requests; ensure accurate quantities of food and beverages are ordered as specified by the menu created.  Supports General Manager in meeting accurate and aggressive long and short-range financial objectives consistent with Company objectives.  Investigate and Resolve food quality issues and service complaints.  Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations regarding liquor, sanitation, payroll, employment and EEO. 

Our Expectations:  Qualified candidates must have: 1-3 years prior management experience in the food service industry, preferably with concessions experience.  Must have strong commitment to customer and client service.  Demonstrated initiative, leadership and team building skills are essential.  Must have the ability to analyze data and make decisions.  Required to have understanding of financial impact of decisions.
