Sportservice is the premiere food, beverage and merchandise provider for this 19,500 seat facility. The revenues for this contract are approximately $13m. Your Role: The ideal candidate will be directly responsible for executing all catered foodservice functions. Specific duties include: Scheduling, training and development of associates in department; conduct meetings updating staff on daily goals and objectives. Oversee all catering functions from origination to execution. Handle guest relations and monitor adherence to quality assurance standards. Order and maintain all inventories for area. Maintain cost control efforts for labor and waste management. Develop event operational plan with the Chef. Achieve long and short range financial objectives consistent with Company objectives, sales, labor and F&B costs. Work with F&B Manager to purchase special event products to fill requests, linens, decorations, receive all products for clients events and lock and secure accordingly; ensure accurate quantities of food and beverages are ordered, as specified by the menu created. Maximize sales potential through aggressive guest satisfaction, creating guest leads for future functions and always be marketing the facility. Also assists with other operations as directed.
Our Expectations: Qualified candidates must have: A minimum of three (3) years experience in a high volume restaurant/catering environment with an emphasis on fine dining banquets required. Most possess a strong knowledge of food and beverage procedures, controls and administration as well as complete awareness and ability to perform all banquet functions. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills required. Previous supervisory experience required. A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
