I am currently seeking a Senior Associate Director of Global Marketing for a colorectal cancer launch product for a new role in the organization. To be considered, you MUST have the following:

TITLE: Senior Associate Director of Global Marketing –Launch Oncology product
REPORTS TO: VP of Oncology Marketing
BASE SALARY: Up to $140,000 - $165,000 base, plus 22.5% target bonus
LOCATION: Northern NJ
RELOCATION: Full relo provided
DESCRIPTION:
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage, plan, and formulate (in an international
environment), the market development and product promotion plans, budgets, programs and
objectives and prepares worldwide sales forecast for use in accurately estimating product
requirements and inventory control.
The incumbent will:
· Manage, review and analyze world-wide marketing results against plans and budgets and recommend marketing procedures to assure/maintain product profitability
· Recommend product improvements based on product and market performance
· Manage world-wide sales materials, stimulates creativity for promotion of brand,
recommend world-wide packaging and product changes to create maximum sales and
distribution of assigned product groups
· Manage the development and dissemination of information about the brand and provide
basic policy, standards and guidelines for communication of such information in worldwide market areas
· Provide strategic planning to implement long and short- range product management
communication and symposia objectives established in the annual plan
· Continually review and revise the annual plan to identify weaknesses and recommend
corrective action to meet or surpass objectives
· Manage external consultations through the development and implementation of world-wide advertising and promotional activities and promotional programs
· Makes decisions and recommends innovative product changes as a global member of the Global Launch Team
· Identify and accurately evaluate current and new competitive products and promotional
activities in the world wide pharmaceutical marketplace applying this knowledge to realize maximum potential for assigned products and recommending marketing opportunities to country marketing teams
· Manage brand activities, including preparation, planning and implementation at global
product conventions and conferences in order to assist the promotion the brand
REQUIREMENTS:
· Advanced degree (PhD or MBA) plus 5 years pharma marketing experience preferred; or BS/BA degree with 8+ years pharma marketing experience

· Understanding of different cultures and ability to work effectively in different cultures
· Experience in the following areas is preferred: product planning, forecasting, market and
product evaluation, sales training, product promotion, and an understanding of manufacturing, packaging, advertising, and financial procedures
· Skills necessary to effectively organize and manage the resources under his/her control. The ability to effectively communicate with marketing and non- marketing managers at all levels. Cooperation and motivation of others are necessary in accomplishing objectives
· A clear understanding as to the overall marketing communication, conventions and
symposium programs. Must have knowledge of advertising, promotions, policies and
practices within the industry and promotional strategies in order to enhance product
marketing
· Problem solving ability to solve problems in areas of marketing communications which
include agency liaison, promotional practices and policies, product packaging and labeling, basic copy surface design, etc. and conventions, conferences and symposia
