Position Description:


Successful candidate will interact with multiple concurrent projects supporting the line of business operations. Candidate will support PM and senior client personnel in managing the development of work products to completion. Critical success factors include change, risk, and vendor management. Will assist the PM in directing all aspects of contracted services that allow the organization to successfully operate the planning, supervision, and execution of contracted task orders. Supports the PM for Operations, Logistics, Planning, Contracts, Human Resources, Finance, Management, Quality Assurance, Service Level Agreements, Risk Assessment, and Security of Information Systems and Information. Acts as alternate point of contact for all contractual matters in the absence of the PM and at the direction of the PM. Assists the PM in ensuring effective coordination and control with customer. Supports company fulfillment of all requirements as prescribed in Task Order/Task Assignment proposals. Candidate will possess superior presentation and communication skills.

This role is for a long-term contract with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).


Technical Requirements:


• 10 - 15 years Project Management, system development lifecycle methodology (SDLCM), and project schedule control
• Demonstrated experience in scope estimation, planning, project costing, budget management, and use of project management tools (e.g., MS Project; MS Excel)
• Experience managing projects using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) (Desirable)
• Experience in successfully implementing Financial Transaction and modeling Solutions in large enterprise environments (Preferably Financial or Banking Institutions)
• Understanding of financial auditing processes
• Excellent communications (written and verbal) and client facing skills
• Experience with earned value management techniques including variance analysis and reporting and PMP Credentials a plus

Educational Requirements:


B.S. Degree or Higher: Masters desirable
