General Duties

 

We are seeking a registered Professional Engineer to serve as the Design Department Manager in our Denver, CO office. Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years relevant experience, have the ability to manage staff, possess good interpersonal skills and communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will also have progressive experience in hands-on design/production and management of conceptual design plans and reports, preliminary design, and final design for highways, interchanges, and local roadways. Extensive experience with CDOT (Colorado Department of Transportation) standards and procedures is a must. Knowledge of design standards for Colorado cities and counties is also desirable. 

General knowledge of AutoCAD and Microstation as well as design packages such as InRoads and SelectCad is a plus.

Candidate should have experience with business development and marketing and strong relationships in the Colorado market.

Requirements

·         BS degree in Civil Engineering

·         15 or more years of experience in transportation projects

·         Professional Engineer license in Colorado

·         CDOT experience preferred
