Essential Functions

·          Assist with the design of cold forging or alternative products suitable to meet customer cost requirements and design specifications

·          Plan the design and development of manufacturing processes, tooling, and machinery in support of customer needs and plant objectives

·          Review customer quotation requests to determine production equipment needs and tooling costs of new products

·          Coordinate the building of new equipment and tooling to assure development of high quality, robust production processes; coordinate timing and DV/PV testing with customers

·          Consult with location department managers and production personnel during the design of manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes to assure compliance with all customer and company objectives

·          Assist or lead with developing closed die forging or alternative manufacturing capabilities as practicable

·          Assist with developing cost and pricing of newly acquired projects
