Design Engineer

Employee owned, successful and innovative industrial ceramic manufacturer in Albany, NY has an immediate opening for a mechanical engineer to work in a fast-paced, customer-centered engineering and manufacturing environment. 

Requirements:

·          BSME with a minimum of 2 years experience required

·          Demonstrated mechanical design knowledge and AutoCAD proficiency a must

·          SolidWorks and FloWorks experience a plus

·          Knowledge of lean manufacturing

·          Good communication skills

The duties of this job include:

·          Manufacturing tooling design

·          Manufacturing process engineering and improvements

·          New ceramic products including customer application engineering

·          Domestic travel is required; international travel possible
