General Responsibilities and Functions:
Ensure engineering functions are being maintained and followed. Ensure accuracy in quoting, programming an design processes.
Qualifications Requirements:
Computer Literate in Microsoft, AutoCAD, Mastercam, GD&T, Math skills (algerbra & geometry), Read and interpret blueprints, Understanding of tool and die and machining principles, good organizational skills and professionalism and good communication skills.
Job Duties
Design and/or create CAD drawings for: tooling, gauges, gauge holders and fixtures |
Provide technical support for shop floor |
| Read and interpret part prints for rough castings and finished machined parts |
| Research and report the requirements for implementing new processes/machinery |
| Select new and improve existing tooling for machine processes |
Travel as required to both customers and suppliers |
Prepare tooling cost estimates for processes by conducting tool usage studies. |

Must be available to work flexible hours and "on call" as required.
