In this role, the Design Manager / Art Director uses creative talents and hands-on design skills (graphic design and/or illustration) together with management and leadership skills to direct the processes, systems, technologies and personnel to complete assigned product or project responsibilities.

Works to secure the full and willing response of all members of a team in working toward common objectives, while supporting team values.

Keeps staff informed on corporate and divisional issues relative to personnel and product, as well as addressing and resolving key issues of personnel and product.

Uses ability to think conceptually and lead brainstorming and innovation projects.

Leverages experience in new product development.

Demonstrates technical knowledge and work experience in the area of production systems for assigned product and projects; while also exhibiting an ability to work creatively within production limitations.

Prior Creative or related industry experience.

Requires BA, BFA
