This a project specific role which will have the following responsibilities.

 

·         Manage and provide direction on the overall technical aspects of the project

·         Direct reports include the Deputy Design Manager, Structures Lead, Roadway Lead, Interdisciplinary Lead and CADD Manager

·         Direct interface with the Contractor (Client) and FDOT (owner)on technical and scope of work issues

·         Have extensive knowledge of the Technical Requirements for the project

·         Engage in meetings with other agencies, as required

·         Work with the Project Controls Group to monitor, control and update the overall design schedule

·         Give input to the monthly progress report to the Contractor and other reports required by corporate

 

A minimum of 20 experience in working on large and complex Interstate Highway projects, with systems interchanges and leading large design teams, with a minimum of five years of design build highway experience.

 

BS in Civil Engineering, PE and/or ability receive their registration in Florida within three months.
