Design Program Manager

This position is located in our MA, Needham facility



In coordination with the IWN Program Director, the IWN Design Program Manager is responsible for the overall design task order and design operations for the IWN program to include all design deliverables for specific geographic regions. Ensures client service is prompt and of high quality. Responsible for the overall management of RF Engineering, Site Acquisition and Construction design projects for the region. Ensures all design projects are completed on time. Oversees all site design development and RF engineering activities and ensure all objectives are accomplished to the client's satisfaction. Outlines project plans and sets project goals/deadlines. Leads and directs others, plans staffing, evaluates performance, makes hiring and salary decisions. Communicates task order and program objectives to senior management, customers, and other entities as required. Leads and directs all staff in delivery of the business plans goals to the organization. Responsible for task order financial budgets in achieving the financial targets established on the program.

Require a bachelor's degree with at least 8 - 10 years of management level experience in the telecommunication or engineering field. Master's degree and PMP certification is preferred.

Comprehensive knowledge with a variety of the business concepts, practices, processes and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of management tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to IWN Program Director.

If the activities/responsibilities of this position require the incumbent to use a personal, rented, leased, or a company owned vehicle to drive on behalf of WS, the candidate's driving record will be reviewed and will be used in assessing suitability for placement. Such activities/responsibilities include: Driving to, from, and/or between work sites or WS business locations; driving to/from customer/vendor meetings; driving to transport or retrieve documents to/from customer/vendors or any place of business; or, driving in conducting office errands where running errands is a part of the customary activities/responsibilities of the position.
