We have an immediate need for a Designer/Drafter.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
10 years experience
Title: Designer/Drafter
Duration: 1-year assignment
Must possess the technical background and organizational and interpersonal skills to work both independently and within a workgroup. Past experience with mechanical flight controls and/or hydraulics is desired.
Tasks include:
1. Create and maintain solid models utilizing CATIA V4, V5 and CADRA.
2. Coordinate with multiple groups to design and establish interfaces.
3. Communicate with suppliers and support supplier meetings.
4. Create, revise and release drawings.
B.S. in Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering preferred. Will also consider applicants having an Associates-level degree in Mechanical Design who possess considerable CAD experience and applicable aircraft industry experience.
Must be experienced with CATIA V4 and have a working knowledge of GD&T. Experience with the CATIA V4 tubing function CATIA V5 and CADRA is desired.
Experience with ENOVIA, LCA, Matrix One, Impact2 a plus.
