Job Summary:
This position is responsible for reviewing and validating engineering model and drawing to ensure standard and conformance with applicable ANSI. Checking and markup detail parts and assembly drawings and model created in SolidWorks, NX, and AutoCAD through PDM system.

Position Requirements:
• Understand and practice of GD & T and drawing format per ASME Y14.100M, ASME-Y14.100, ASME-Y14.24, ASME-Y14.35M, ASME-14.34M and ASME 14.5M
• Knowledge of mechanical and systems engineering design, model and drawing drafting standards
• Ability to create CAD model and drawing
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers and partner to coordinate Source Control Drawing
• Understand basic manufacturing processes using machining, casting, forging, composites and able to discuss standard flag notes

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical, Engineering or Business with 2-4 years or a Masters with 1-2 years of experience in configuration and technical validation is required.  4 plus years experience in configuration and technical validation is preferred.
