CDI Marine Company is a division of CDI Government Services and a leader in providing our clients with high quality, cost effective engineering, design and logistics services in the marine industry.
REQUIREMENT: Applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain a security clearance issued by the US Government.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develops design models / drawings according to engineering diagrams and ship specifications.
Basic Qualifications: Applicant requires 10 + marine electrical experience with 5 to 7 years shipboard cable routing and wireway development experience.
Must be familiar with Mil-Spec cable types and sizes, cable bend radius requirements and have a good understanding of electrical equipment cable entry.
Applicant must posses a strong working knowledge of DOD-STD-2003, be able to make independent decisions with little supervision.
Position requires an associate degree in drafting/design or applicable technical field plus four years drafting experience.
Experience in ISDP and AutoCAD required.
Duration: 6-9 months
