IMMEDIATE NEED: Long term contract position located in Ohio for a large company seeking a MicroStation3D or AutoCAD 3D Electrical Designer for physical layout design of substations for high voltage electrical environments. Responsibilities - Responsible for producing Microstation drawings for physical layout of components for substations
- Responsible for working with other electrical designer and engineers on various new and retrofit projects
Requirements - Requires an AS degree or equivalent experience with Microstation or AutoCAD 3D
- Requires Microstation experience and/or other electrical cad software
- Requires 3D experience for electrical component layout in Microstation or AutoCAD
- Requires experience with substation physical layout or electrical component layout design\drafting
- Requires experience with panels, electrical elementary diagrams, relay drawings, wiring diagrams, and other related electrical design
- Experience with substation components such as, relays, circuit breakers, transformers, etc. is required
- Understanding of schematic diagrams design, layout and drafting is required

Questions you will be asked:
• Describe your experience as an Microstation or AutoCAD 3D Electrical Designer in Substation Layout design. Do you have physical layout design experience? How many years of experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD do you have? Where? When? Do you have 3D experience in AutoCAD or Microstation of electrical component? Explain.
• Describe your experience with panels, drafting of electrical components and other related electrical design for installation in substations for high voltage electrical environments.
• Describe your experience with substation components such as relays, circuit breakers, transformers, etc. Describe your experience in working with other types of components utilized in high voltage substations.
• Describe your experience working with a utility if any. Describe your experience and understanding of schematic diagrams, design, layout and drafting.
