Thriving Pharmaceutical Company located in RTP, NC is actively looking for a highly versatile, flexible and capable IT professional to join its expanding Desktop tech. support team. Role will involve primary responsibility for user/desktop support Specific duties will include:
Work with all levels of users to resolve any problems with their computers or peripherals.
q Assist/support users in various applications including Microsoft Office.
q Perform basic system administration duties, including tape backup system, account-email administration and account maintenance.
q Setup, deploy and troubleshoot end user computers and equipment.
q Work in a Helpdesk/Call Center environment that records, tracks and troubleshoots support requests.
q Assist with the configuration and installation of new hardware and software, as required.
This is a key role in a fast-paced, dynamic and service-oriented settingand company needs an excellent person. In addition to the requisite technical skills (detailed below) selected candidate will offer a 'how can I help' demeanor and a desire to learn and contribute. 2+ years in a technical support/help desk position required. Particular expertise in desktop support critical. Technical certifications a plus.
