Job Summary :
Develops, implements and supports an effective PC, Laptop, and tablet operating system. Ensures high levels of availability and performance from user’s equipment. Works with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensures that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule. Enforces security standards on all existing user equipment and identifies needs for system upgrades and enhancements. Analyzes and makes recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
¨ Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting PC’s software and hardware.
¨ A bachelor’s degree in a computer related field preferred.
¨ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
¨ Knowledge of Windows 2000, XP, &
¨ Proficient with PC-based call tracking software and knowledge base applications.
¨ Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and working with remote desktop tools.
¨ Solid understanding of two and three tier applications.
¨ General understanding of applications in a business support environment.
¨ Ability to install various types of computer hardware at the end users desktop.
¨ Knowledge of remote control, remote management tools, software deployment tools, and PC imaging solutions.
