CIBER – ITO (Information Technology Operations) is a dynamic growing 50 million dollar Managed Services based business unit within CIBER, a billion dollar IT services firm. CIBER – ITO is looking for a Desktop Support candidate to work at one of our clients in Carson Valley, PA.

• User maintenance in Active Directory
• Maintain documentation for all network related activities
• Provide support for Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003 and 2008
• Should be an MCP in Windows server 2003.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, not someone who is afraid to follow instructions.  
• Support Microsoft Solomon Business application, Symantec Anti-virus protection and CVCA departmental specific client applications (such as Donor Perfect & EZCare)  You will not find this as they are smaller apps, but must want to learn.
• Knowledge of Symantec Backup Exec
• Ability to Identify and diagnoses network/connectivity problems, Knowledge of Intel/Cisco switches, Intel/Cisco routers
• Knowledge of document management processes ( Documentum)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server
• Knowledge of Barracuda Web Filter Appliance 
• Knowledge of Checkpoint firewall
• Knowledge of HP Printers (Laserjet & Deskjets)  (high Priority) a bulk of the work is with printing issues
• Knowledge of Linksys/Cisco Wireless Access Points
• Knowledge of Microsoft WSUS
• EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• NOT AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS
• EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE  
• Reliable Transportation/Drivers License
• Ability to perform assigned tasks without supervision
• Ability to prioritize incidents/problems
