Established Computer Consultant in business for over 5 years looking for an extremely reliable and trustworthy Desktop Support professional. Our business provides IT/Networking services to a secure client base of small/medium sized businesses located throughout Manhattan, Queens, and Nassau, so car is required. The right candidate is one that is not the type to sit behind the same desk day after day; but enjoys working in various locations and dealing with different types of people. 

This position is part time on a Per Diem basis (could be daily/weekly assignments), but could lead to Full Time for the right person.

Skills required:

    *MCSE strongly preferred

      *installing upgrades; monitoring network performance; LAN knowledge
    *3+ years Desktop support in all Windows environments/MS Office support

    *MS Exchange

    *Backup Exec

      *Firewall Administration

    *Symantec Corp Ed

    *light server support

      *customer service background a plus, or proven people skills

       *excellent problem-solving skills a must

       *experienced in presenting technical information to non-technical staff

       *experience working independently a plus
