OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
We have a current opening for an entry level professional in our expanding Information Services Department. Under the supervision of the Director of Information Services, the DESKTOP SERVICES SPECIALIST is responsible for hardware maintenance, software configuration and end user support.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
· Troubleshoot, maintain and perform testing on desktop and laptop computers, printers and various peripheral devices;
· Support AV equipment in conference rooms;
· Deploy new computers, and peripherals;
· Install desktop applications;
· Assign folder permission and other access rights;
· Maintain complete inventory of hardware and other component parts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Working knowledge of the following system applications; MS office, MS outlook, MS SharePoint
· Windows Security, VPN and Wireless network
· Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team;
· Excellent oral and written communication skills;
· Strong computer skills and attention to detail;
· Strong results orientation.
· Work hours 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: $32,500.00 - $34,500.00 annual salary.
