We have an immediate need for an Desktop Support Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION
Description:
Will be also handling PC deployments as scheduled.
• Provides technical end-user troubleshooting and training for Microsoft Office, email, data security, administrative products and other desktop software.
• Perform help desk duties responding to end user inquires and maintaining the call ticketing system.
• Perform PC-related hardware and software support including installation, configuration and maintenance.
• PC hardware and Microsoft certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of technical support and customer service experience in a MS Windows environment with exposure to Microsoft operating systems, Office suite products, e-mail, remote access, anti-virus, anti-spam and other security software required. Must also be familiar with Vista.
• Must be team orientation, have a service orientation, and possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
• Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
