Desktop Support Technicians:
Swap out old laptop and desktop systems for new ones.
Backup user data, pack-up old equipment, install new equipment and software, and then restore user data.
Work with customers on-site to resolve equipment or software problems.
Work with the rest of the deployment team to ensure that the new computers are installed in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with deployment team about bugs or issues found in the equipment or software configuration.
Work with deployment team to refine installation and deinstallation processes.
First tier software support for Microsoft Windows 2000/98, Office XP/2000/97 and Vista.
First tier hardware support for laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
Must be willing to travel within the US for this project and work outside of regular office hours
