Uline, a leading international distributor of packaging & industrial supplies, seeks a Desktop Technician for their Satellite Office in Gurnee, Illinois (north of Chicago).
Corporate Office is moving to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (Kenosha County) - Summer, 2010.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Respond & resolve user support requests

Work with Business Unit management to ensure maximum availability of all systems within the Business Unit

Deploy new end-user hardware / software & perform maintenance on existing equipment

Research solutions to new problems & provide better solutions to existing problems

Perform basic maintenance for network servers & log time / problem resolutions into system

Share knowledge with other team members & perform other tasks as needed

Understand basic networking, remote communications & other infra-systems

Understand & work with Microsoft Active Directory, administration, user accounts & internet e-mail

Fluent in Microsoft Windows technology

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred
