TITLE: Developer / Programmer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains Ascent’s web and database projects, which includes development, implementation and maintenance of code.
- Ensures project management and defined software development standards and procedures are followed including background in full life cycle development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Computer Science or similar discipline
- Two (2) years of experience in business logic or presentation layer code
- One (1) year experience of programming in client/server and web based applications preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years hands-on experience building ASP.NET database driven web applications (C# preferred, VB.NET acceptable).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (ie. Windows XP)
- Knowledge of web application development and relational databases.
- T-SQL development experience required.
- Experience with ASP is required
- Experience with Object Oriented programming.
- Demonstrated expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML/XSL
- Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication, professional presentation skills, and the ability to lead coordination meetings in order to achieve scheduled goals.
- Candidate must have a disciplined approach to managing task assignments. People skills, good judgment, and flexibility are critical to this position.
- Candidate must be able to work cooperatively with internal administration groups as wells as manage positive client relationships.
