Developer/Programmer .Net, SQL, C#, Object Oriented Programing, Data modeling, SSRS, SSIS
CIBER, Inc. is searching for a Developer/Database Developer to work under general direction, independently develop, modify, and implements moderately to highly complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to Client standards. Ability to create detailed specifications or implement programs from detailed specifications will be required. Independently research and resolve complex technical problems. The role is an intermediate-level technical contributor in one or more highly specialized phases of application system analysis and programming with thorough business application understanding. The successful candidate may serve as primary system support for two or more complex information systems based on system knowledge.
Candidate should have 4+ years of successful work experience as a Developer or Database Developer within a software development organization. Candidate will serve as a Developer, with focus on developing, enhancing and integrating a workflow solution. Candidate is also responsible for analyzing performance and applying performance improvements. In addition, data migration from operational data structures to a reporting data structure for use with SSRS will be required. This includes the development, design specifications, and implementation of all SQL needed to extract, transform and load data. In addition, development and support of some reporting is required using SQL Server Reporting Services. Candidate will have an ability to coordinate with multiple project teams, across multiple departments. Candidate displays solid leadership qualities and takes ownership of all development related issues. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to join the client as a full time employee at the end of the 6 month contract but must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder to be eligible.
- Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience required.
- Knowledge of UML and ability to implement UML models is preferred.
- Understanding of client-server technologies (Microsoft preferred).
- 4-6+ years of experience with .Net 2.0, C# and ASP.Net. Strong background using Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts.
- 4-6+ years of experience with SQL Server (2000 and 2005).
- Experience with Microsoft reporting tools and cubes preferred.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML and source control tools is a plus
- Comprehensive experience with and a very strong understanding of web technologies and ASP.Net / Internet Information Services Manager (IIS) required.
- Experience with SQL data modeling & design with strong RDBMS concepts. Experience with writing and deconstructing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Experience in working with Business Process Management Systems or Workflow Management Systems is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, problem solving skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Supports the technical specification development schedule.
- Knowledgeable about development standards and processes.
- Helps define the support process.
