Position Overview:
The Development Manager role is an individual contributor, leadership role in the division. The person will support the Southwest Division President and Regional Presidents in the development and execution of company growth through acquisition and company performance through special projects. This position is part of the career path in line management. The timing of career movement will be contingent on the person’s performance, capability and organization demand.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leading the acquisition function for the Southwest Division
• Analyzing the division markets and opportunities
• Conducting financial analysis for potential acquisitions
• Coordinating due diligence
• Negotiating with all parties in potential acquisitions
• Overseeing the legal review process
• Coordinating post acquisition integration
• Assisting with the development of division growth strategy
• Leading special projects

Education/Experience:
• An MBA with 5-10 years experience in line operations, corporate development, and/or consulting in a manufacturing and industrial environment with a strong performance record of leadership and accomplishment.
• An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business or Finance with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
• The candidate will be operations oriented with an ambition to run a business in the future.

• Business acumen in manufacturing, distribution and/or construction operations to include sales, marketing, engineering, multi-unit operations, finance
